Facial Expression/ Eye Contact
When we watched "There is nothing like a dame" in class and also when I re-watched it at home, I think that the eye contact between all the men in the number was really good as they was all interacting with each other and looking at each other. They also all looked fed up and they looked desperate that they really wanted a women back in there like. When the soloist was singing, the rest of the chorus was looking at them so they looked interest and wanted to know what they was saying.
Volume, Pitch, Tone of Voice and Accent
Again, when I watched this I thought that they all had a good volume and you could hear what they was saying well and clearly. They also all had American accents as they was in an American musical. Whilst they were singing, they all sounded angry and had aggression in their voice which made the number more effective. They also had low voices and they had a couple of harmony's in it.
Posture and Gait
In the number, they all had crossed arms which suggested they was annoyed or angry. Also, whilst they were singing they had actions for the words which they were singing so everything linked together.
Gesture and Physical Contact
All the men throughout the number had close contact and they all had really good interaction with each other and was acting of one another. Also, they all put there arm round each other which showed they were all close. Also, when the women ran past all the men stopped and stared at them and they all did it which made it look effective.
